Returns + Refunds Policy
Purchased Products, excluding Gift Cards
If you are not happy with a product, you are welcome to return it within 90 days of purchase.
Electronic Gift Cards
We accept returns of gift cards with balances of $10 or less, any time after purchase. Requests for refunds of gift cards must be emailed to hello@rutive.com. The email should include your name, mailing address, the order number, and the gift card number. Gift cards with balances greater than $10 may not be returned or redeemed for cash.
If your purchase included a free gift item, you may keep the free item or return it with your purchased item(s). If you choose to keep the free item, we will deduct the value of the free item from your refund. Samples included with your purchase are yours to keep even if you return a purchase. We will not deduct the value of sample items from your refund.
Items Marked as Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive store credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will issue a refund to the gift giver.
Shipping Costs
You are responsible for paying for your shipping costs associated with returning your item. You are also responsible for ensuring return packages are sufficiently insured and tracked. Our shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.
How to Return Items
To return your product, send an email to hello@rutive.com to request a return authorization form. We must receive your email within 90 days of purchase. When your request is received, we will reply to your email and include a return authorization form. When you receive the return authorization form, mail the return authorization form with the merchandise you are returning to: Rutive.com, Returns Department, 12816 Inglewood Avenue #47, Hawthorne CA 90250, United States. This is a mailing address only. Rutive does not accept in-person returns.
Refunds
Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Once your refund is processed, we will issue a credit to your credit card or original method of payment. If your payment was made with a gift card, we will issue a new gift card in the amount of your refund.
Refund Processing Time
Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of receipt of your returned item. Refunds for gift cards will be processed within 5 business days from the date the email request was received.
